Project Description
Kokopelli is a tun-based RPG taking place in Albuquerque, USA. You embody a member of a Spirit Brigade in charge of befriending spirits in a world in which humans and spirits live in harmony.
My task
- Performance analysis and implementation of optimization techniques to reach our 60 FPS target
- Debugging of existing gameplay features
- Implementation of AI systems
- Development of missing features (quest items, checkpoints, UI)
- Management of the development team
Project context
In the 1st phase, a 1st team of 20 people worked on the game from conception to alpha. Then, my team and I joined them during the last month of production to help out with the technical side of things. Initially, we came to optimize the game. But we ended up helping out with AI and bug fixes.
